Here I am, getting started a bit, it was about time, the blog stats are plummeting! Obviously, already no updates in 15 days…. But hey I am seriously short of time at the start of this expatriation and then I only managed to install the internet on the computer recently…

For today I will just put the photos corresponding to the article written previously, namely the big departure. This good old Charles de Gaulle, an airport that I would never have seen so much in 2 years! The "pee" stop in Abu Dhabi and the first photos, in fact just the first 2 that I took the day after my arrival.

Loaded like an ox, I did well to arrive early, I was the very first to go through, and with my 40kg plus my big backpack, no one said anything to me... Thank you Etihad Airways.

Still 3 hours before takeoff…. but just a few minutes before the dreaded check-in.

Sweet France, the country of my childhood…

In the meantime, I'm taking advantage of the rest room accessible by invitation, which allows me to snack and drink (for free) and recover from my last rather festive days.

In the background the internet corner from where I wrote before leaving.

A new day dawns…

Already another world…

Come on, just a little less than 7 hours and I'll arrive safely.

When I discovered Thailand in 2006, I certainly didn't expect to settle down there 2 years later! Since then, I've been based in Bangkok and regularly travel throughout the country (especially in the north!). I share my stories, photos, and tips to help plan your trip to Thailand and other Asian countries. This blog is for anyone who wants to discover the land of smiles, who's looking for a bit of adventure, and those who dream of Asia.

Today is a big day for Bangkok, the city's mayor is elected.
I am live on the BMA site, apparently Apirat should be elected for a second term. Good thing for the city and in addition my in-laws support the democratic party in the Yannawa district. You must follow life in Thailand without getting wet.
tell me where you live in Bangkok, an exciting city that will see me soon if I don't find a job in France. hello to your friend Jitima, good luck to you both, the future is in Asia
