Thailand Family visit: Last stop in Hua Hin Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Central Provinces, Travel to Thailand 5 (4)So here comes the last stage of this trip across Thailand with my parents, Hua Hin, a seaside resort quite well-known to Bangkokians but less sulphurous and more peaceful than Pattaya. We came by car but Hua Hin railway station is worth a visit. The reason is that it is one of the oldest railway stations in Thailand. Built in the 20s when Hua Hin was becoming a popular destination thanks to the railway connection, just as King Rama VI had just built a summer palace there, the station was specially designed for the royal family with a dedicated pavilion as a waiting room for the king and his court. Although the pavilion is no longer in use, the line and the station itself are still in operation. Inside there was an exhibition of photos of members of the royal family. This is tree. The large beach at low tide. This one has been cleaned well since the last time. The water is not really nice or deep which doesn't really make it a place for swimming. On the other hand, leisure activities such as jet skis are still there. Buildings are springing up everywhere. Hua Hin has already changed a lot since the first time I came.Mini crabs. The fishing "village" at the foot of Takiap hill where the temple of the same name is located. The same village seen from the hill. From here you have a view of the whole city.It is also the monkey hill. There are also cows...Change of scenery, direction Wat Huay Mongkol a few dozen kilometers from Hua Hin, the temple is especially known for its imposing statue of the monk Luang Pu Thuat (who owes his fame to his miracles) For the end of the day we were going to take a tour of the floating markets. You should know that these markets are recent in addition to being totally artificial, not to mention that they built 2 of them only 300m from each other... Quick visit to the second “market” to see before it gets completely dark.Little train as a bonus to go around. We couldn't end this visit to Hua Hin without a little tour of its night market.
