Travel Blog Partnerships – Media Kit

  >  Travel Blog Partnerships – Media Kit

Thailand and Asia is a travel blog, focusing first on Thailand, my host country since 2008, but also all of Asia that I love to travel. In return, I share my experiences via travel journals, embellished with many photos.

The goal is to make people discover possible destinations in Thailand and Asia. My credo is to try to stray from the "classic" paths, in order to give a glimpse of these little-known places, to make them want to go in turn, to know new places or why not, simply to make them dream.

Started in 2008 When I arrived for a new life in Bangkok, the blog was not yet called "Thailand and Asia", it was classically a blog to give news to my friends and family. Things moved in 2010, when I started to want to change things and then became "Thailand and Asia".

However, it was not until 2013 that I would really find the energy and motivation to dedicate myself to it, discovering a real passion.

Thailand and Asia is a travel blog, mainly focusing on Thailand where I'm based since 2008 (living in Bangkok), but also all across Asia which I love to travel through. In return, I share my experiences through travel diaries, with many photos.

The goal is to discover possible destinations in Thailand and Asia. My credo being trying to move away from the 'classics' paths, in order to shed some light to some unknown or less know places, to give someone the desire to follow my steps, to know new places or simply, why not, just dreaming a bit.

Started in 2008 while I arrived for a new life in Bangkok, the blog was not called “Thailand and Asia” yet, classical story as at the beginning, I created it only to give some news to friends and family. It started to change in 2010, when I decided I started to want to make a difference and so the blog became “Thailand and Asia”.

Therefore, it is not until the year 2013 that I found time, energy, and most of all enough motivation to really put me into it, discovering me then a real passion.

Main themes on Thailand and Asia

The blog "Thailand and Asia" offers several themes, mainly based on the writing of travel journals, focused by country, the whole is an ode to discovery, a word that I like to use often because it supposes something that speaks to me, ranging from the discovery of the other, to the open-mindedness and the physical one of traveling places that nature and man have made possible.

Among the themes, we can classify them as follows:

  • Travel journal. : Classified by country, I express my experiences sometimes day by day, sometimes by gathering information concerning a region or even a more specific place.
  • Heart-stopper : Among my various travel journals, I note down those that really left a mark on me, either through the encounters, the beauty of the landscapes or the richness of the culture, generally a bit of a mix of all that.
  • Travel Tips/Tricks : Articles targeting a problem and sharing my experience on this subject, or more simply advice on transport, accommodation, budget indications, itineraries, etc.
  • Regarding Thailand, there are 2 approaches, that as an expat, with sections on the local culture and its festivals, but also of course the kitchen or simply ideas for visits to Bangkok same and surroundings, a section which can also be aimed at travelers.

Main subjects addressed on Thailand and Asia

The blog “Thailand and Asia” offers different topics, mainly based on travel diaries, categorized by country, the whole thing is an ode to the discovery, a word I like to use often because it assumes something that speaks to me, from the discovery of the “other”, to open-mindedness and of course, to go to places where nature and man (with some architectural wonders) have made this all possible.

A photo enthusiast

I would have liked to add videos... Actually yes, I also make videos, just that at the moment, a lot of editing awaits me, but I preferred to focus on photography.

For me, photography is an integral part of a journey and its return, because in addition to being a sort of temporal testimony of a moment T, it is also a memory and a means of being able to show, share the beauties and riches that make up this world that is ours.

This is why we find photo galleries for each country visited:

- Photos of Asia

As well as galleries dedicated to Thailand alone, grouped by region:

- Photos of Thailand

Photography passion

I would have like to add videos as well… Actually yes, I also do videos, but as you may notice, so far there are not so many, few editing are on stand by since I put emphasis on photography.

For me, photography is an integral part of a journey, because in addition to being kind of temporal evidence of a specific time frame and space, it's also a souvenir and a way to show, share the beauties and riches of the world that is ours .

That is why you can find many photo galleries for every country I've been to:

- Photos of Asia

As well as galleries dedicated to Thailand only, for every region:

- Photos of Thailand
