Some 70km after our departure from Hua Hin we were on the outskirts of Petchaburi when my parents asked to stop there, while we were at it, it was on the road and we might as well enjoy this last day in a different way than driving straight to Bangkok. There aren't even any temples in this city, if you have the opportunity.

The temple is next to an old football field... in the background you can see the chedi of another temple located on the hill next door.

The upper part of this temple is all made of wood, impossible to say if it is recent or not because the rest of the complex seems more modern, or otherwise well renovated.

From the street next to the temple we see another one which we were heading towards immediately.

The city has a whole line of statues, all different.

Many of the houses here are still old wooden shacks.
