Family visit: boat trip around Ko Tao

So here is a whole day dedicated to swimming, and more particularly to observing the reefs of Ko Tao. For 800 baht per person, we had booked directly from our hotel. Unfortunately what I will remember from this day is that the corals are all dead… I will not see any turtles or sharks (whale) I was disappointed… But it remains a great experience and you have to come back to hope to see the turtles giving their name to the island or the sharks (whale or black tip) giving their name to a bay. Knowing that in the case of sharks these are not always visible, in our specific case we were in Ko Tao shortly after the Phuket earthquakes, the guide thinks that this could have been linked knowing that there were several in the area just before... Speaking of the organizer, we were leaving with Diamond tour, our guide was English and motivated, working here for "only" 6 months, his good humor being in total contrast with the more or less sluggish and jaded air of the rest of the other people with whom we shared this tour.

Our boat, on the far left, must wait for the others to leave first, in the immediate future we are waiting for the latecomers.

There are so many fish that you literally swim "in" the schools, you don't have to be touchy.

Last underwater photo, despite a full battery the same morning, this one was already empty... little regret because the photos are not good, there remains the pleasure of the eyes!

After a lunch break we head towards the last stop of the day, namely Nang Yuan.
